Of Earth and Flesh
The work is a return to the untamed, a world where the boundaries between woman, landscape and memory dissolve into one another. Through dense botanical forms, gestural mark-making and luminous layers of colour, the painting resists the ordered stillness often imposed upon nature and femininity alike. Instead, it embraces wildness as a form of power: instinctive, fertile and irrepressible.
Emerging from the chaos is a quiet meditation on loss the gradual disappearance of truly wild spaces and our growing estrangement from them. It explores a yearning for reconnection; a reminder that beneath the structures of modern life remains an ancient, embodied relationship between the human spirit and the living earth.

Lost
This painting reflects a longing for the disappearing wildness within both the landscape and ourselves. The tangled flowers, twisting stems and drifting forms emerge from darkness like fragments of a world becoming increasingly fragile — a reminder of the untamed spaces that are steadily being lost through control, consumption and disconnection from nature.
Rather than presenting nature as orderly or decorative, I wanted the work to embrace its chaos: its overgrowth, movement, vulnerability and unpredictability. The layered botanical forms intertwine almost restlessly, echoing a human desire to reconnect with something instinctive and uncontained in an increasingly structured and artificial world.
The painting exists between beauty and unease, abundance and disappearance. It speaks to a quiet grief for vanishing wild spaces, but also to the deep emotional need we still carry to return to them — to feel immersed in something raw, living and beyond our control.

Blush Bouquet
This floral bouquet was born out of redecorating my house and looking for colours that would compliment the blush colour of the background. This large canvas adds a pop colour with warm tones.

Road to Slanty Lees
This piece captures the quiet power of the mountains in a way that feels deeply personal and immersive. The looming peaks draw you forward with a sense of awe and anticipation, echoing the emotional rhythm of the 13 Valleys Ultra itself — that mix of endurance, humility, and wonder that only the mountains can create.
The movement within the landscape gives the impression of being out on the trail, small beneath the vastness of nature yet completely connected to it. Richly textured in oil on canvas, the painting carries both atmosphere and memory, transforming a fleeting moment from the run into something lasting and evocative.

BLOOM
This acrylic painting has a striking, contemporary energy, with its bold interplay of pink and green creating a vivid, immersive atmosphere. The colour-drenched palette feels intentional and confident, giving the work a strong visual identity while still maintaining a sense of harmony.
The limited colour range works beautifully here, not only enhancing the composition’s impact but also making it versatile for interior spaces—easy to integrate into a room while still acting as a powerful focal point. The way the paint extends around the edges of the canvas adds a modern, gallery-style finish, allowing the piece to feel complete from every angle and giving it a sense of depth beyond the front-facing image.
